I love Mother Sue's (I call her "Mother Sue" because she our building's "dorm mother") because it so beautifully expresses what so many of us here at the Sequoias are experiencing during this time of very painful, but necessary, isolation. We miss the mingling and physical comaradery with our friends here. even though we have been able to gather in small groups outside, 6ft apart with masks, it is not like dining, and attending meetings and presentations, and actually seeing the smiles and expressions that we were used to doing. Mother Sue is kind, and caring, and always listens and gives us good advice and support. SO nice to read this beautiful presentation.

Hi Sue! This is Dena - Jack & Shula’s daughter. I just read them this fabulous article and it made them smile. We all have so many memories of Ridge, folk dancing and SRI. So glad your family is close and you get to see them often! Fondly, dena

Sue,
Wonderful to see you, read about you, and even hear your voice. I well remember those times at Ridge with the countless youngsters. Many good memories. I've been at The Forum for almost nine years and much of what you say about the Sequoias resonates with my experience.
