Local athletes dominate CCS football leaderboard

Menlo-Atherton's Matt MacLeod and Menlo School's Sergio Beltran are by themselves at the top of the list of Central Coast Section passing leaders. What's up with that? You need to have Menlo in your school name to put up big numbers?

Yea, local HS football! Gunn is leading the conference in rushing (going against the grain, but successfully, like the Cleveland Browns and a couple of years ago, the 49'ers). Exciting to see. and note: MA is not a parochial or Catholic school, so no need to post something like that from your sour anti-football lair.

BTW, all Paly has to do to make the CCS playoffs this year is to beat Milpitas at home tomorrow night. Everyone should come out and see Paly's great Brody Simison who scores either an offensive or defensive TD in every game, sometimes more than one, as well as the other seniors on Senior night, such as 2-sport baseball star/QB Danny Peters!
