Rare sighting of Oriental turtle-dove wows birders

A bird sighted last week only for the third time in California has hundreds of birders flocking to the neighborhood with birding scopes, binoculars and cameras.

Wow, thank you for the article Sue? Really great stuff. I lived there for 20 years. What a great story. Thank you again. I wish I could have seen it.

I live right around here. It has been great seeing the birdwatchers come from all over the place so excited. They have been very kind and haven't been a nuisance at all. I am almost sad I'm not into birdwatching because I can't enjoy this to the same extent.
