As COVID-19 recedes, Californians have new worries

A new poll found that Californians’ worries about COVID-19 have receded, but their attention has shifted to some old issues and two new ones, crime and gas prices.

Strange way to phrase the headline.

Gas prices have increased. Crime in Palo Alto has increased alarmingly, not only in the number of incidents, but how brazen the crime has become. Daylight robberies, brandishing weapons in front of children, running out of stores with armloads of merchandise, this all seems to be something that we didn't have 5 years ago.
