"Vote for Democrats"? You approve of this insanity that the Democrats have forced upon us? Inflation, 200,000 migrants per month crossing the southern border, failed Afghanistan pull-out that left many Afghan allies there, [Portion removed.]
How could anyone vote Democrat this next round?
If it were a Trump or pro-Republican sign, surely a liberal would have stolen it and you probably would have been fine with that.

Perhaps better to place these politically-inspired signs inside the front window of your home.
Lawn signs are tacky eyesores.

@Me
You can always twist something to support what you want to believe, but if you have to twist that hard, maybe Democrats aren’t so bad.
Inflation is global right now. Ours is mixed with increases on consumer goods because of Tmp administration import tax increases. Every administration deals with immigration problems; we have a labor shortage (as all 1st world economies do), not sure lying politicized rhetoric about the issue is the most productive way to deal with it. Trmp broke his promise to end the war in Afghanistan but committed to the pullout with the Taliban in discussions that excluded the Afghan government and people, demoralizing both. A Pence security advisor said the Tmp administration destruction of the visa system caused the difficulties processing Afghan refugees. Tmp administration committed to the plan, why were they so derelict in planning for evacuating Afghan allies? Oh yeah, they were plotting a coup. Did the Tmp administration by any chance leave s good transition team to do thus? (No)
Vote for Democrats because
- they are the only party trying to serve the public; the majority of the public prefer Democrats’ policies
- nonpartisan research, reported in conservative outlets like WSJ, shows the economy does better under Democrats by virtually all measures and has for a century — the entire world is suffering cost of living issues post pandemic; compare how the administrations handled the pandemic—we are so much better off with Biden to deal with this
- Republicans have been inept and deadly. Covid mismanagement and disinformation caused >500k unnecessary American deaths from Covid, more deaths since 1970 than all foreign wars combined since we became a country from guns/no gun laws, millions of unnecessary deaths/disabilities in decades of keeping us from healthcare reform like the rest of the first world has, obstructing action on the climate crisis and the unthinkable consequences, blocking safety and pollution rules, etc etc

Citizen: Twisting to support what they believe is a Democrat trait!

Well, I certainly appreciate Citizen's thoughtful comments. Fact-based and cogent. So.. I put up another set of signs that weren't quite as beautiful but said the same things and they were stolen again tonight between 4 and 7 PM. Seems lots of loud people don't like other people to have a say. FYI, my front window isn't visible and the first set of signs were very tasteful, but they were stolen by an autocrat.
I say again...Vote for Democrats. They actually believe in freedom, not just their own.

Those interested in maintaining the integrity of free elections may have already taken note of the fact that PA's own Google and Facebook--by their admission--have swayed a minimum of 2.5M votes and up to 12.5M votes by using search results manipulation, search suggestion manipulations and targeted 'Go Vote' displays that favor Democratic candidates in both presidential and congressional elections.

Thanks to the previous poster, for pointing out the obvious which just may not be obvious.
The media as a whole are able to influence votes. It is not just CNNvFox, but all media are able to influence voters in various subtle manners. The choice of words in a headline can make any article on almost any topic biased in a certain way. As an example, using a phrase such as "abortion industry" v "reproductive healthcare" can be discussing the exact same issue even with similar perspectives, but the phrases either in the headline or first paragraph show a bias.
As both a Google user and a Facebook user, I see exactly how the algorithms learn from my searches and even more alarming point me in a certain direction, often one I don't want to go in. Getting accurate information on anything from Covid/Monkeypox to health insurance for overseas trips to safety/cleanliness on rental cars or airBnbs is not only difficult, but skews towards whatever the latest woke trend is trending. Gone are the days we can decide for ourselves who to trust. The answer is that we cannot trust anyone.
1984 is now reality.

"The answer is that we cannot trust anyone."
So true...which is why one must guestimate when voting as both Democrats and Republicans politicians cannot be trusted.
And the same applies to the media.
At least POTUS45 spelled things out clearly by speaking directly to the people.

Though Palo Alto is perceived as a liberal/blue city, there are countless Trump supporters and right-wing enablers.
Not everyone agrees or concurs with Ms. Lehrberg's political position but her advocacy signs should have been left alone.

A sign or placard stating "Defy McConnell and Trump" and "Vote for Democrats" is your personal sentiment but not one shared by millions of Americans who see this country slipping away.
Nevertheless, stealing your signs were wrong as you apparently put a lot of thought into them.

I am a bonafide Trump supporter but would never consider stealing anyone's signs that profess the opposite.
Like all American citizens, you have a right to express your political viewpoints and I hope your signs are returned.
At least you were not promoting a 2024 Biden run.

A very polarizing sign...had you posted something along the lines of 'Defy racism and bigotry' and/or 'Vote to Preserve Democracy' you probably would not have had your signs stolen by a dissenting party.
On the other hand, you are entitled to your opinion.

Promoting a Democrats vs Republicans agenda is like arguing Ford vs Chevys.
There will never be a mutual consensus.
