A Civics Lesson on Voting Rights Act 1965

If you are interested in the role of the Supreme Court and Congress in the Rise and Fall of the Voting Rights Act, here is a video you can watch and consider. Web Link

On youtube I have posted a slide show with oral discussion. Covid rasp is evident but it's short and gives you some background on the benefits gained by the VRA'65 and the damage done when the Supreme Court has tried to undermine its purpose: to overcome years of racial discrimination so that one person one vote and every vote counted.
