Just another 10 hour minor inconvenience for residents!
Our bills go up but our service deteriorates. Getting our power supply more dependable should be top priority. This is the heart of Silicon Valley, not a third world country! In fact, most other countries have more reliable power than we do.

1) Where do the plans stand for more undergrounding of the wires?
2) How's CPAU doing with issuing refunds for the continuing outages?

I agree we have had worse weather than normal, which means that we have had more power outages than normal.
Knowing the problems and the fact that any surplus funds are transferred to the City, the wise thing to do with these surplus funds is to spend them on undergrounding the wires. Whenever it rains, someone loses power. That is not right!

It's "only" 900 customers.

Lets see: $20 million a year siphoned out of the Utilities department that should have paid for maintenance. Now the city says the reserves are low and they have to raise rates to do maintenance. The city must have hired former PG&E management.
