Rules approved for 'penthouse parklets' on University Avenue

Dismissing complaints from diners about food chunks and soiled napkins falling on their heads, the City Council this week lauded new two-story dining structures as "the future of outdoor dining" in Palo Alto's downtown districts.

Hahahahaha. The actual joke is the way the city has handled the whole street closure situation on California Ave and Ramona. Who elected these ????
