Would I not love to ditch my appliances! And the shared cheap laundry appliances too. 2017 Baker & Association., Segue, Related, Stanford Pa’s Mayfield Place. The Mayfield Agreement. Cheap cheap cheap. Inefficient, broken, not climate or family friendly. Need I count the ways in how this complex was done wrong! Plastic, vinyl, melamine, aluminum, sod, concrete. Every unit feature was shorted by two inches. To the kitchen sink to the toilet. Doors don’t fit the frame. We finally got hot water after 6 years. It’s an island of nowhere here on Stanford Research Park. Kids have no park near enough. I’d LOVE to replace the fridge . Every time I open the fridge door our family food store cleaners to the floor. Cupboard Shelves can’t fit a store of food. It’s tiny for three can’t fit four. The floor design did not accommodate for laundry or trash or linens. Bare bones. No space to hang dry clothing, no inch to give. My kids trip over laundry buckets and trash cans. Even the HVAC covers are crummy. No liver to shut heat off or on. Closets don’t have lights and I’ll equipped for hanging clothing. Electrical wires sticking out of walls. Wall light switches that have no connection to anything. Counter top outlets take up precious space for storing or living. Related owns Hudson Yards NYC. The largest most costly expensive land development in the USA yet they allow a Palo Alto very low income complex perplexed and sorely lacking. Gross negligence. And Stanford Palo Alto green lighted it. Seque folded during this construction after 6 young deaths in Berkeley 2015. Many more maimed for life. Mayfield is the brunt of that tragedy. No safe, secure ADA assigned parking. A joke, if only I could laugh. Yet it’s serious. No access to a resident community room. Locked and dark. Is this how Palo Alto conceives it’s affordable housing? Law suite in the making. All green-lighted by the powers that be. The last and most current all family inclusive living is doing the exact opposite.

PS do not count the soccer field. Mayfield residents are not allowed there unless signed up for soccer in a league! Hello.I disagree w the Mayfield Agreement. We are in a no where zone, trapped in so called permanent housing and treated like transients w no where to go.

You can look in your papers today 04/23 concerning a plan by PG&E to charge for electricity by useage and your personal income. This thought up by the inhabitants of Berkley. The cost for everyone will go up. And if you are working from home even more so. Electricity galore and people you do not know who are boring into your personal income sources. And of course you will see the terms "equity" thrown in - a religous incantation for a select few who are pushing "Democracy" on us all with socialist tactics.
I see all types of buildings in this city that say "For Lease". Drive up ALma towards town and you will see empty buildings. That means that big companies that are laying off people are reducing their electricity useage costs which the residents of this city will be required to pay into. And the personnel of those companies that work from home are now increasing their electrical useage doing company business.
WOW - thanks again California for thinking up the worst ideas out there. Who in our city has signed up for this tactic?
