Justice is painfully slow. It's also a shame that with so many brilliant minds who inhabit Stanford Land, these cases couldn't be resolved earlier. Getreu had many free years and now at 78, I'm glad he is finally accountable for his heinous acts. I hope he is in the general population in prison. No special favors, such as the safety of solitary confinement. I also hope the families can recover wholly knowing their loved ones can finally rest easy.
