Why is justice so pitifully slow? Victims develop PTSD that worsens when the delay for justice impacts their every waking moment. It seems every article of late shows how long it takes from incident to a courtroom and I think our world is just too full of criminals to process them. We need some kind of "speedy trial" instead of years to get an indictment. In July 2021, the VA was barely open. I imagine it was probably easy to victimize someone with hardly anyone in the building.
