Detectives make arrest in 2022 robbery at gunpoint in which a child was in the victim's car

A South San Francisco man has been arrested in connection with an April 2022 robbery at gunpoint of a Palo Alto resident who had just parked in his driveway and was taking a child out of the rear seat of his car.

Terrifying.
Are we inured to such crime? I don’t care if the child wasn”t harmed. This is outrageous,
I think there should be heavy prosecution of such “terror” robberies.
I think public safety is what our government representatives ought to focus on; this is serious. Be sure we have representatives who restore penalties for crime (penalties have been reduced by Newsom and our state legislators, in many cases) and district attorneys who actually prosecute these criminals. I suggest following the tragic Jasper Wu case in Alameda County wherein the district attorney appears soft on the the suspects.
