Given limited space and resources, the next alternative might be to develop some upscale mobile home parks with various amenities that condominiums offer like a clubhouse, tennis courts and larger swimming pools.

Most mobile homes in the peninsula run anywhere from $350K to about $450K at best, a far cry from $3M-$5M+ asking price for a modest 3BR/2B house.

By making mobile home parks more attractive and desirable, people will buy them.

Some mobile homes are nicer than real houses unless than desirable neighborhoods but in addition to purchasing the mobile home you have to rent the space.

Most mobile homes are fixed and sold with the rental space. You rarely see them being moved.
