Iconic restaurant The Fish Market auctions décor, equipment and furniture in online auction

The Fish Market, a 47-year-old seafood restaurant in Palo Alto that shut its El Camino Real branch to give way to a housing project, is hosting an online auction to sell its contents. Bidding will take place through Sept. 26 at 1 p.m.

I will greatly miss the fresh fish counter at this restaurant. It was the best place in town to get large pieces of really fresh fish of any kind--cut to order.
