"wrongful convictions at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, Oct. 4."

Why would there be convictions at the MVCPA? Shouldn't convictions happen in a courthouse? I certainly have never heard about any convictions happening there. You'd think the story would explain such a strange circumstance.

I wonder how many wrongful convictions are really innocent. I remember hearing a prosecutor on cable news saying that prisoners are being wrongfully released not because they're innocent, but because they didn't leave any DNA behind. Hmmm.

There should be an effort to ensure that evidence is reviewed objectively when making arrests and DA's prosecuting so wrong prosecutions should be held to a minimum.

In this story, I don't see a contribution by the police that made the arrest nor the DA that made the decision to prosecute. DNA is very helpful to a prosecution but the lack of it should not be the basis of innocence.

Officers that I talk to in Palo Alto and other cities around the country are so frustrated with the DAs in place and their lack of law & order focus. California is in dire straits with all the looting and other crimes but then look how bad things are in Chicago and all of New York State with the misdirected elected officials in the AG/ DA offices around that state.

The EPA mayor Gauthier should be worried about her son facing different threats and not the police.
