‘Kidnapped’ flyers raising awareness about people held hostage by Hamas appear in Palo Alto, Los Altos

After conflict broke out between Israel and Hamas on Oct. 7, “kidnapped” flyers with pictures and names of people kidnapped by Hamas started appearing across the U.S. -- and Palo Alto is no exception.

Our Palo Alto community must hold onto and express our best values of unity and caring for all, not tempted by propaganda, division, or turning to hatred in this time of suffering and violence.

These flyers are being posted all over the world. These flyers are also being removed all over the world. It is a sad world when simple pictures of those kidnapped as a show of support become divisive.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of big money fueling that division here, in DC and all over the country with all the hateful Zoom bombing of city council meetings etc.

It CAN happen here and is happening.
