'None of us are OK.' Vigil brings different faiths together to Mitchell Park

What began as a chat between a few Palo Alto neighbors evolved on Saturday into vigil that brought about 200 people of different faiths and backgrounds to Mitchell Park to support Israel and denounce Hamas.

What a wonderful idea, how was it publicised?

One fear is that these positive events might become targeted by those same people involved in the Zoom Bombing of the Council meeting. It is such issues that can easily become divisive as has been seen in other places.

Bystander, we are grateful that the Palo Alto Police sent two uniformed officers who attended the entire event and kept watch. It was peaceful, thank goodness.
