Palo Alto Weekly to become a nonprofit in 2024

Embarcadero Media, a 44-year-old Bay Area news publisher and the parent company of the Palo Alto Weekly and PaloAltoOnline.com, announced today that it will become a nonprofit organization at the start of 2024.

Glad to see what solutions are being used to save local media. I've been worried about that for a while, seeing the collapse of papers of various sizes all across the country
