A tremendous amount of taxpayer dollars is somehow being spent in “the homeless.”
It’s time to remove squatters/“encampments” from public byways, underpasses (see: fire), public sidewalks, the slope of Central Expressway (Sunnyvale, Santa Clara), freeway cloverleafs, etc.
It’s also time for accountability and auditing. I see very little of this, much less results.
I suspect more people come here owing to the current very lax attitudes/tolerance/variety of benefits of our government representatives. Safety, public health of the general public taxpayers needs to be prioritized over transients choosing to camp rather than utilize services from government and charities that can improve their situation, trying very hard!!
It’s time for identification and follow up from our government rather than continuing to expend our taxpayer money to an astounding extent on this.
