Heads up, drivers: Lanes of 101 to close next week from Mountain View southward

Lanes of U.S. Highway 101 will be closed for four days during the daytime starting on Tuesday, Jan. 16, for maintenance operations, according to Caltrans.

Does this mean that one Fastrak lane and one regular lane will be closed? Will they turn off the restrictions for the fastrak fee? This work is normally done overnight so as not to disrupt traffic.

They should also repave the section of 101S from around Mathilda down past Bowers. It's so rough and full of divots, just like El Camino Real in Palo Alto.
