Fitzhugh to appeal sentence

Kenneth Fitzhugh, the Palo Alto real estate consultant convicted of killing his wife, Kristine Fitzhugh, in their home last year, filed notice Oct. 11 that he intends to seek an appeal. The notice came the day after Justice Franklin D. Elia sentenced him to 15 years to life in prison for the crime.
