Mountain View gets new South Indian restaurant

Two family friends have opened a South Indian restaurant together in Mountain View.
John Annachi and Suresh Seenichamy soft opened Annachikadai at 80 W. El Camino Real in late February.

Let me make it clear to the writer here that gulab jamun is not a doughnut soaked in syrup......gulab jamuns are made with milk that has been thickened by cooking it in open pan.

here's how the online menu for the restaurant describes the dish: "Indian doughnut soaked in sugar syrup".
